A Daugherty family breakfast tradition, especially for the winter holidays. Great for leftovers too. This recipe makes enough for 8-10 people.
Ingredients:
8 Eggs
1 cup Bisquick
1½ cup Grated cheddar cheese
1 lb Breakfast sausage (ie – Owens, Jimmy Dean) (regular or spicy)
2 cups Milk
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
Pace picante sauce as garnish
Directions: Beat the eggs. Brown, drain and crumble the sausage. Mix all ingredients and pour into a greased 13×9 Pyrex baking dish. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until lightly brown on top.
